> Shared survival — with Isaac, Kasia, Alicja, and Bain. What makes survival meaningful? What elements of survival are in our control? Together, we will explore survival as solidarity in a necropolitical world and as skill - from filtering water, and making fire, to coping with our ethical responsibility for the lives of others. We will listen to stories from the Polish-Belarusian borderlands and reflect on how to act with care in moments of crisis.

Kholoud, Setareh, and Elham will facilitate the session that will focus on community and scientific knowledge, technological resources, and above all community building. > Join us for an author talk with Michael Beltran, journalist with Pinoy Weekly and author of the book 𝑇ℎ𝑒 𝑆𝑖𝑛𝑔𝑖𝑛𝑔 𝐷𝑒𝑡𝑎𝑖𝑛𝑒𝑒 𝑎𝑛𝑑 𝑡ℎ𝑒 𝐿𝑖𝑏𝑟𝑎𝑟𝑖𝑎𝑛 𝑤𝑖𝑡ℎ 𝑂𝑛𝑒 𝐵𝑜𝑜𝑘: 𝐸𝑠𝑠𝑎𝑦𝑠 𝑜𝑛 𝐸𝑥𝑖𝑙𝑒, to learn about why he boycotted the Frankfurt Bookfair and learn more about the Filipino people's struggle for national liberation. Beltran's book details the life of Jose Maria Sison and Julie de Lima in the Netherlands, and the cast of characters that make up their community of fellow Filipino exiles, activists, and other figures in the Dutch political scene. Beltran will be joined by representatives from local organizations for a discussion on the continuing relevance and legacy of Ka JoMa's life and work, as well as how we can strengthen our solidarity here from the imperial core. Regiospectra published a German version, which will be available at the event.
